JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK (2016)

10/25/2016 - Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) - 4-/10

Tried way too hard in every aspect. The first was effortless in its simplicity and style, providing a tight and enjoyable military cop action film. Nothing amazing, but subtly solid. This was was a color-by-numbers where the artist is grinding the colored pencils as they scribble.

Too crowded with supposed pathos, schmaltz, amped up action, and the need "to do more". A great example of why a sequel wasn't needed.

Is it awful? No. Just a slightly dulled razor, cutting you with the nicks in the blade. It's a passable film, but wholly skip able.
