12/29/19 - Missing Link (2019) - 6+/10

Cute and fairly satisfying, as far as all ages films go. The animation is slick and richly textured. The story has just enough tongue-in-cheek, pseudo-adult flourishes, and nuanced themes to entertain myself and provide good animated fodder for children. It made me chuckle and awe.

Pretty darn good. Evolved and wise, despite its baseness and children worthy. Probably the most beautiful and inspiring animation of the year with voice talents that completely worked and melted into their characters. A fun surprise.
