Good looking, poignant and taught throughout. Really beginning to love "mini Fincher" director Villeneuve. An outstanding pairing of visual/scenery and plot, with brutal action juxtaposing the desolate serenity of the desert; a place that gives little on the way of hope and salvation - just as the film provides.

Great underplayed action with strong and well cast roles throughout.
Plays like an expanded amazing piece of "Traffic", displaying the horrors that the drug system wreaks upon the world that it molds. There is subtlety, nuance, and true moral quandaries, all while engrossing and pleasurable.

I liked. It is only a matter of time before this director knocks one out of the park and truly blows up.
