11/11/19 - Good Boys (2019) - 4-/10

Tired and lame. Everything about it felt “off” and recycled, like a beat too much or too long. It honestly seemed like a poor excuse to make a SuperbadBabies, cuz “it will be edgier when they are younger...and they don’t know about sex so their innocent ignorance can be mined for cheap gags”. It’s not like that wasn’t expected or the obvious gimmick on display, but it still grew tiresome and uninspired. I can’t say the young actors did anything wrong, but they also didn’t bring any real value to the table. Likable, but unloved.

It was a functional and palatable 90 min (on the dot!), but next to nothing of the film will be retained or provide any real worth. I would suggest passing. It didn’t have the laughs or to make it worth it.
